CLIMATIC CONDITIONS:
October was the only month where rainfall was not significantly higher than a typical year in the Wairarapa. Picking started in early March due to the high disease pressure.

Various pickings in April 2023
HARVEST & VINIFICATION:
This luscious wine obtained its name from the Italian vintner who started planting this vineyard in Martinborough in 1989. Hand-picked, whole bunch pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation stopped at 9.5%VOL.
